Wema Bank has been named the No. 1 Best Workplace in Nigeria at the Great Place To Work (GPTW) 2024 Awards, recognizing its commitment to employee well-being, work-life balance, and innovative work culture.
The award, presented at a ceremony in Lagos, highlighted Wema Bank’s exceptional support for its employees, including mental health initiatives and a comprehensive range of employee benefits. The GPTW Awards, which evaluate organizations based on employee feedback, recognized Wema Bank for prioritizing its employees’ overall well-being.
Great Place To Work is a globally recognized authority on workplace culture, assessing organizational culture through its Trust Index Survey, which gathers insights on leadership impact, workplace culture, and overall employee experience.
Organizations that meet the benchmark receive certification, and this year, Wema Bank earned the Platinum Award as the No. 1 Best Workplace in Nigeria, alongside two other awards: Best in Promoting Culture of Innovation By All and Best in Delivery of Learning and Development Practices**.
Wema Bank’s MD/CEO, Moruf Oseni, dedicated the award to the bank’s employees, emphasizing their role in the achievement. This year, the bank surpassed its previous achievements, not only securing its second consecutive GPTW certification but also claiming the Platinum Award as the No. 1 Best Workplace in Nigeria.
