Samuel Chukwueze will complete his move to Serie A giants, AC Milan this week, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
AC Milan and Villarreal reportedly agreed a €27m transfer fee for the Nigeria international last week.
The two clubs and the player are proceeding with the move despite a plan hijack by Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side, Al Nassr.
“Milan is sealing final details of the deal to sign Samuel Chukwueze — as documents will be checked today,” Romano wrote on his Twitter handle.

“Chukwueze, expected in Italy this week to become new Rossoneri player.”
The 24-year-old was also a subject of interest from Real Madrid, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
It was Shields – now Director of Recruitment and Talent at Chelsea – who signed Lavia for Southampton in a £14m deal from Manchester City back in July 2022.
The 19-year-old blossomed in his debut campaign at Southampton, and many now expect him to end up back at a top six side after the Saints were relegated to the Championship.
Southampton are said to value Lavia at £50m.
The paperwork for Chukwueze is going through the system today and plans are being made for when he can arrive in Italy later in the week, where he will do his medical and then sign his contract.
Milan had been close to signing Arnaut Damjuma from Villarreal at one stage, but he signed for Everton instead and it led to Milan accelerating for Chukwueze.
He will likely battle with Pulisic to be the starting right winger for Stefano Pioli’s team.
