Manchester United’s rising star, Kobbie Mainoo, has earned his first senior call-up to the England national men’s team.
England coach Gareth Southgate has drafted the 18-year-old midfielder into the squad for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
This reward follows his standout performances in recent games for Manchester United, catching the attention of the England boss.
Mainoo, a product of Manchester United’s academy, received the club’s Young Player of the Year award in 2023.
Despite his youth, he made a huge impact, earning his full debut in a crucial EFL win over Charlton and later featuring in a Premier League victory against Leicester City.
