Vinicius Junior has won the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards as the Best Men Player of the year. The Brazilian footballer of Real Madrid received the award at the ceremony held in Dubai, as he claimed the Best Forward accolade, marking the culmination of an impressive year.
Jude Bellingham, another standout performer, secured dual honours by winning both the Best Midfielder award and the Maradona Award, further establishing himself among football’s elite.
The event also recognised Neymar Jr. with the Player Career Award, celebrating his remarkable contributions to the sport.
Meanwhile, young sensation Lamine Yamal was named Best Emerging Talent, signalling a bright future for the Barcelona prodigy.
Cristiano Ronaldo continued to make history, being honoured as the Top Goalscorer of All Time. The Portuguese legend expressed gratitude for the recognition, solidifying his status as one of the greatest players in football history.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo criticised Vinícius Jr.’s omission from the Ballon d’Or win, describing it as “unfair” and praising the integrity of the Globe Soccer Awards.

Speaking at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards, Ronaldo remarked, “Vinícius Jr. should have won the Ballon d’Or. In my opinion, it was clear. It was unfair. This is why I love the Globe Soccer Awards; they are honest.”
According to him, the Ballon d’Or which was awarded to Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri for his pivotal role in winning the Premier League and leading Spain to Euro 2024 glorym should have been won by Vinícius Jr.
