Former Manchester United forward Andy Cole has criticised Antony.
Cole claimed that Antony has not produced enough chances for his teammates, adding that the Brazilian international drives him mad.
Antony joined Man United from Ajax last summer for €100 million on a five-year deal.
He has so far failed to justify his price tag.
Antony scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 47 appearances across all competitions last season.
But he is yet to score or provide an assist this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Cole said: “He would drive me absolutely mad.
“He’s an individual; we all know he’s very left-footed; he is an individual who never goes to the right-hand side so as a centre-forward if you are making a run to the near post, you know you are never going to get it.”

He continued: “He is going to check back, you are not sure when he is going to put it in the box. He doesn’t score enough goals for me, and he doesn’t create enough chances for his teammates.
“So you look at that and say, ‘Okay, what are you giving?’ That is what you are expecting from him. They have spent a hell of a lot of money on him; the manager’s backed him and he’s found it really, really tough.”
