The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has joined several popular Nigerian celebrities and fans of music star David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, in celebrating his 32nd birthday anniversary.
The Afrobeat superstar is marking his 32nd birthday with a live-streamed concert titled “Davido & Friends Birthday Concert,” which is set to take place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on November 21.
The highly anticipated concert, which fans across the world can tune into in partnership with Kiswe, promises electrifying performances, unforgettable surprises, and special guest appearances.
This year’s celebration also coincides with the 5th anniversary of Davido’s hit album A Good Time.
In addition to the concert, Davido earlier announced plans to donate N300 million to charity in commemoration of his birthday.
The donation will support orphanages and a charity focused on addressing drug abuse among young people across Nigeria.
Born in Atlanta, United States, on November 21, 1992, to Osun State business mogul Adedeji Adeleke and the late university lecturer Veronica Adeleke, the singer turned 32 today.
To mark the occasion, his uncle, Governor Adeleke, along with several celebrities and fans, took to social media to celebrate and pour encomium on the star.
Governor Adeleke shared a post on X, extending his birthday wishes to his nephew. He tweeted: “Happy birthday to my Darling Nephew @davido, 001 of Afrobeats. May God’s grace continue to shine over you as you make the Dynasty, Osun State, Nigeria, and the entire black race proud all over the universe.”
Nigerian singer Jaywon also celebrated the “Awuke” crooner, taking to X to express his admiration. Sharing a video with Davido, he wrote: “It’s always love and respect. Happy birthday davido ori ade baba Imade.”
Former EME artist, Skales, tweeted his gratitude, saying, “Thank you being a blessing to me brother … more life more grace king.”

Davido’s cousin, Folashade Adeleke, also joined the celebrations on social media, posting: “World 001 Day! @davido To know you is to truly love you. I love you, David. Thank you for all you do, thank you for who you are. May we continue to celebrate you for years to come.”
Social media influencer @Mbahdeyforyou joined in with a simple birthday message: “Happy 32nd birthday Davido.”
In a special birthday gesture, a Nigerian-owned auto dealership based in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Jay Autos LLC, gifted the Afrobeat superstar a brand-new Escalade 600 premium luxury vehicle.
