Veteran singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known professionally as D’banj, recently delighted Lagos residents with an impromptu free concert aboard a BRT bus, offering a unique and memorable experience. The surprise performance on Lagos’s public transport was part of a celebration for D’banj’s latest album, The Entertainer D’Sequel, which marks his return to the spotlight. Announced last month, the album has been highly anticipated by fans and is set for release on September 15.

The spontaneous concert coincided with the launch of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line, highlighting the city’s evolving infrastructure. D’banj’s bus performance took passengers on a musical journey from Leventis bus stop to Marina train station, and finally to the National Theatre station.
