FRSC Warns Public Against Fake Recruitment Advertisements

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a public warning against false online publications claiming that the Corps is currently recruiting.

In a statement released on Friday, the FRSC dismissed the reports as misleading and urged the public, particularly potential applicants, to disregard them.

According to the statement, the attention of the Corps was drawn to several online platforms spreading misinformation about an ongoing recruitment process.

The FRSC categorically stated that it is **not recruiting** at the moment, nor are there any current plans for a hiring exercise.

“The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to a publication by online platforms misinforming the public about ongoing recruitment of personnel into the services of the Corps. This medium is to let the public know that the Corps is not recruiting at the moment, neither is there any ongoing arrangement to that effect,” the statement read in part.

The Corps further clarified that recruitment processes within the FRSC are always conducted in a transparent manner and publicly announced through official channels.

Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, emphasized that there are no current recruitment plans. He reassured the public that the FRSC’s recruitment exercises are carried out with integrity and are widely advertised through verified communication outlets.

The FRSC also issued a stern warning to the public, advising them to avoid engaging with individuals or platforms promoting these false recruitment claims.

The Corps described these as potential scams aimed at exploiting unsuspecting applicants. The statement made it clear that the FRSC will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by those who fall victim to such fraudulent activities.

This is because recruitment processes in the Corps have always been transparent, credible and made public through adequate placement of advertorials and notifications on all available media platforms including our website; www.frsc.gov.ng, our social media handles, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM,” the statement concluded.
