Aloy Ejimakor, the lead counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has urged President Bola Tinubu to heed Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s call for a political solution to the case of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader.
Atiku made the call while condemning the killing of soldiers in Aba, Abia State, during the sit-at-home ordered by IPOB to mark the May 30 Biafra Day.
The incident took place at Obikabia Junction Checkpoint in Obingwa Local Government Area, adjourning Aba metropolis.

“To this end, without prejudice to the ongoing legal processes, I think the time has come to explore a political resolution to the Nnamdi Kanu and other associated issues. I believe that this will diffuse the compressor cooker situation in the region. It will be a win-win for all parties,” Atiku had said.
Reacting, Ejimakor posted on X: “It’s expected that @officialABAT & AGF Fagbemi will take heed as Atiku calls for political solution to MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s detention, following that of Sen. Shehu Sanni, Prof Wole Soyinka & the epic visit to #MNK by a delegation of Igbo pantheons led by Iwuanyanwu.”
