Mohbad: Singer’s Mother narrates son’s ordeals

Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, was a late Nigerian singer who expressed concern about being kidnapped, according to her mother, Mrs. Promise Aloba.

She admitted that she refused to live in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos State, where Mohbad had rented an apartment and planned to open a business for her, out of fear of being kidnapped.

Mrs. Aloba described how the deceased and his wife tricked her into staying with them because of the anguish he was going through.

About two weeks ago, Mohbad passed away, and his passing has sparked debate.

The appropriate authorities exhumed Mohbad’s body as a result of the controversy surrounding his passing.

In contrast, Mrs. Aloba told some journalists in the singer’s home: “I don’t tell people that I’m Mohbad’s mother because he was worried I might be abducted.

He promised to build up a company for me and took me from Iyana to Ikorodu. However, I’m unable to stay in Ikorodu once more, therefore I requested that the shop be rented out out of fear.
