The Nigeria Christian Corpers’ Fellowship Alumni International (NCCFAI) has emphasized that the reunification of all Christian youth corps members will offer opportunities for interconnection, build fresh relationships, and contribute towards fostering a strong and united Nigeria.
NCCFAI has concluded plans for the first-ever global reunification of all Christian youth corps members from both Nigeria and the diaspora.
The event is set to take place in Abuja this month.
The inaugural gathering, themed ‘Now is the Time,’ is being organized in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), with the President of CAN, Arch Bishop Daniel Okoh, ministering. Additionally, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) President, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, will serve as a guest speaker, along with other renowned men of God.
In a statement, NCCFAI General Coordinator, Pastor Ayo Oluwalagba, explained that the two-day event, scheduled for Friday, September 20th and 21st at the National Christian Centre, will bring together Nigerian Christians who have participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) since its inception in 1973.
“It is organized in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) with Arch Bishop Daniel Okoh, President, CAN, ministering and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) President, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, as a guest speaker, among other men of God,” Oluwalagba said in the statement.

Pastor Oluwalagba further noted that the reunification event is open to all former Corps members without any restrictions. “The program is classless and ageless, with no restrictions for all ex-Corp members, and it promises to be a glorious time in the presence of God, providing a shield for all categories of personalities regardless of social, economic, or religious status,” he added.
Oluwalagba emphasized that the gathering offers a unique opportunity to foster unity in Nigeria by encouraging youth participation. “It provides opportunities for interconnection, and building fresh relationships in fostering a strong and united Nigeria with viable youth to stand in the gab on behalf of Nigeria,” he said.
The NCCFAI General Coordinator urged all Nigerian Christians, both home and abroad, who have passed through the NYSC scheme, to attend the inaugural programme, which aims to unite the diverse ex-Corp members under a common spiritual banner.
