The 2024 NECO SSCE External Timetable has been officially revised due to the upcoming Ondo Governorship Election, scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024.
This announcement was made in a news flash on the National Examination Council’s website on Monday, titled “Adjusted 2024 SSCE External Timetable.”
The information urged candidates to review the revised timetable, which is now available, and cross-check any changes for the affected date against the original schedule.
The announcement stated: “Please note that the 2024 SSCE External Timetable has been adjusted due to the Ondo Governorship Election on Saturday, 16th November, 2024. The adjusted timetable is now available and should be reviewed alongside the original timetable. Be sure to check the changes for Saturday, 16th November.”

In addition, important registration deadlines have been emphasized. Standard registration for the SSCE External Examination closes on November 6, 2024, with late registration commencing on November 7. Walk-in registration will be available from November 13, both of which will attract additional fees.
Candidates are advised to act promptly and stay informed to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.
The statement concluded: “The registration deadline for the SSCE External Examination is 6th November 2024. Late registration starts on 7th November, and walk-in registration begins on 13th November. Both attract a fee.”
