Olajumoke Orisaguna, famously known as ‘Olajumoke Onibread,’ has made a triumphant return to the public eye after a brief hiatus.
The former bread seller turned model has joined City FM as a radio presenter, where she will host her own talk show, “Kilon Shele.”
The announcement was made at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, where Orisaguna expressed heartfelt gratitude to her supporters, particularly renowned photographer TY Bello, who played a pivotal role in her rise to fame in 2016.
Speaking in the Yoruba language, Orisaguna expressed her willingness to return to school while reflecting on the financial struggles, exploitation, and challenges she faced due to her lack of formal education.
Her rise to prominence began in 2016 when she inadvertently walked into a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, captured by TY Bello.
This chance encounter transformed her life and inspired millions.
Orisaguna shared that her radio show, “Kilon Shele,” will focus on her personal story, shedding light on her experiences with exploitative managers who took advantage of her lack of education.
The show will also delve into the emotional struggles she faced during her hiatus, her journey toward self-discovery and empowerment, and feature inspiring conversations with guests who have overcome similar challenges.
“I want to use my platform to share my story, the good and the bad. I want to show that even in the darkest moments, there is hope for a better tomorrow. My show will be a beacon of inspiration for those who have faced similar struggles,” she said.
The Cardinal Foundation, an initiative of Cardinal Broadcasting, led by City FM’s Chief Executive Mrs. Doja Allen, has been instrumental in supporting Orisaguna’s comeback.
At a press conference titled “The Comeback of Olajumoke (Oni Bredi),” Allen emphasized the foundation’s commitment to providing Orisaguna with the necessary tools and opportunities to rebuild her life.
These efforts include facilitating her return to formal education and enrolling her in professional training at City Media Academy, where she will learn radio presentation, news production, and digital content creation.
Upon completing her training, Orisaguna will be employed at City 105.1 FM and will begin hosting her new talk show, “Kilon Shele,” which is set to premiere this Saturday.

“We believe in second chances and the power of restoring lives. Olajumoke’s journey is a testament to resilience and grace, and we are determined to restore her dignity while inspiring others to chase their dreams,” Allen stated.
During the press conference, Orisaguna reflected on the challenges she faced despite the fame and endorsement deals that followed her rise to prominence.
She expressed deep gratitude to individuals and organizations that supported her during her struggles, particularly Azuka Ogujiuba, who treated her like a daughter, and TY Bello, who promised that she would not return to selling bread.
“I thank Azuka Ogujiuba, who took me as her own child and stood by me, and TY Bello, who promised I wouldn’t return to selling bread. I also thank Adedoja Allen for her financial and emotional support and Stanbic IBTC for covering my children’s school fees,” Orisaguna said.
Azuka Ogujiuba, Chief Executive of Mediaroom Hub, spoke about how Olajumoke was financially exploited due to her lack of experience.
Ogujiuba pledged to help Olajumoke recover from past exploitation and restore her dignity.
“Victoria Ekong took advantage of Olajumoke’s lack of experience, financially exploiting her, and I am committed to helping her recover from this,” Ogujiuba stated.
