New Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has just one week to sell four players.
According to the UK Telegraph, this is in order to avoid a potentially awkward start to his time in charge.
The Blues are scheduled to begin pre-season training next Wednesday.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kai Havertz and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all sealed permanent transfers away from Stamford Bridge.
Mason Mount has already confirmed his exit and will officially join Manchester United this week.
Four other players are also hoping to leave.

Pochettino only “wants to work with players who want to be at the club”, meaning there is just one week left for them to leave before pre-season starts.
Striker Romelu Lukaku is keen on a return to Inter Milan, having spent the past season there on loan.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, while Hakim Ziyech’s move to Al-Nassr has now stalled.
Christian Pulisic is another player who wants to quit Chelsea, with AC Milan and Lyon interested.
Main while, Valverde had an interesting 2022/23 campaign to say the very least. He added goals to his game and was playing like one of the best midfielders in the world in the early months of the season.
But his form would fade away as the season progressed, especially in the second half of the campaign. He did show his incredible potential but at the same time, it became clear that the Uruguayan international needs to be more consistent.
There has been no lack of interest in his signature this summer though. And he is believed to be rated at a transfer fee north of €100 million.
In the past, Real Madrid are believed to have knocked back significant offers for Valverde. But with the club signing Jude Bellingham this summer, it would be interesting to see whether Los Blancos are now more open to the prospect of the Uruguayan midfielder leaving.
