Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, and Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, visited Nollywood actor Zack Orji at the National Hospital in Abuja on New Year’s Day.
The delegation was at the hospital to celebrate the first baby of the year, and they used the opportunity to extend support and well wishes to the ailing actor.
Accompanying the First Lady and the Vice President’s wife were prominent figures such as Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development; Mrs. Rachael Umahi, spouse of the Minister for Works; and Mrs. Bello Matawalle, the wife of the Minister of State for Defence, among other dignitaries.
Senator Tinubu was said to have spent 13 minutes out of her visit to spend time with the ailing actor.
Hospital reports revealed positive developments in Orji’s health following the intervention of Kennedy-Ohanenye, ensuring the actor received the best available medical care at the National Hospital.

According to Tayo Hastrup, the Public Relations Officer of the National Hospital, Zack Orji’s health has shown improvement, with him regaining the ability to communicate and being in a stable condition.
The legendary actor was rushed to the National Hospital over the weekend after reportedly collapsing in his home.
The actor was one of the vocal supporters of President Bola Tinubu during the electioneering period.
