Gerard Pique has been spotted arriving in Miami for a family holiday after it emerged he’s planning to announce his engagement to girlfriend Clara Chia.
The Barcelona FC star, 36, cut a casual figure as he strolled through the terminal with his luggage in tow, after sources claimed he and his girlfriend are planning to marry in a matter of weeks.
It comes as Gerard’s ex Shakira continues to fuel rumours that she is dating Formula One star Lewis Hamilton.
Gerard and Clara went public with their romance last year in the wake of the footballer’s split from Shakira, and have not been shy of flaunting their romance
The source told Spanish media: ‘Gerard Pique and Clara Chia are going to get married. The ex-footballer and his girlfriend have taken this very important decision.
‘They have also planned the ideal moment to make the good news public. The announcement will be made on another important date for Pique, the wedding of his brother Marc who is going to marry his childhood sweetheart Maria on June 24.’

The South American songstress, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, parted ways with longtime love Gerard, 36, last summer amid allegations he had cheated on her with the woman he wound up dating following the split , Clara Chia Marti, 24.
Shakira is mother to kids Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight, with Gerard.
