Ado-Ekiti—Barely 9 hours after the gruesome killing of a Point of Sales agent in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti, unknown gunmen again killed a yet-to-be-identified Rice hawker at Bisi market.
The incident, which happened very close to the palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Aladesanmi, had traders and passers-by scampering for safety.
The assailants, who came on a motorbike shot and killed the wheelbarrow pusher and sped off.
Recall that gunmen, in the early hours of the day killed a Point of Sales agent popularly known Alfa and carted away with naira notes alongside other valuable items.

Also, a ticketing officer of Okada Riders association was shot dead on Monday in Okesa area, very close to the market.
The spate of killings in the state in the last four days has put fear in the mind of residents, while calling on the state government to as a matter of urgency stop the menace and bring the perpetrators into book.
