Grammy Award-winning artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, released his sixth studio album, Morayo, on Friday, November 22, through Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records
The 16-track album, whose title translates to “I see joy” in Yoruba, is a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
Announcing the project earlier this year, Wizkid declared, “Best album I ever made!! Now listen! It’s only up from here!”
Morayo features an array of collaborations with prominent artists, including Brent Faiyaz on “Piece of My Heart,” Asake on “Bad Girl,” Tiakola on “Après Minuit,” Jazmine Sullivan on “Bad For You,” and Anaïs on “Slow.”

In a stunning new record, Wizkid’s latest single became the most-streamed song in Nigeria on Spotify on its opening day, racking1.57 million streams.
This isn’t just another album; it’s a journey through Wizkid’s personal loss and growth, layered with beats and lyrics.
