Nigerian music star Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, has reignited his long-running feud with fellow artist Davido, sparking a social media storm.
The drama began on Tuesday when Davido announced the upcoming release of his first single for 2024, hinting at its potential success. Shortly after, Wizkid took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and posted: “P***y boys dropping mid again, una don tire! Make una go rest small!”
Meanwhile, NaijaTimesUSA, also gathered that Wizkid had planned to release the first track of his highly anticipated “Morayo” album on the same day.
Davido’s associate, Kayode Yajaur, popularly known as Black Tycoone, presumably took a swipe at Wizkid, saying, “Tell your Daddy to drop an album already.”
Although Wizkid didn’t name Davido, fans quickly interpreted the post as a dig. In response, one of Davido’s fans accused Wizkid of using Davido’s name to gain attention, writing: “So if you no beef @davido your song won’t sell?”
Wizkid fired back, stating: “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!” His tweet sparked further debate, as he dismissed Davido’s music collection as inferior, claiming his own catalogue far surpasses Davido’s work.

Wizkid also taunted Davido’s extensive music archive, labeling it as “80 trash,” and implied his superiority in the music industry with another jab: “We got 80 albums for any song y’all drop! P***y boys!”
However, Davido has however not replied or dropped any comment regarding the swipes.
